Tall trees, winding pathways and quiet corners for morning coffee or an evening wander. Villa guests wake to garden views; House guests step from verandah to lawn in seconds. Guest relaxation areas are scattered through the greenery — bring a book, stay a while.

The sparkling pool sits at the meeting point of House and garden — overlooked by the West Wing Luxury Rooms and edged by loungers and lawn. Cool off between meetings, float away the afternoon, or watch the light change from the undercover veranda.

We publish no invented opening hours or pool rules — just the real, photographed pool at the heart of the estate.

Breakfast, done properly

We serve a delicious full English breakfast — included in room rates, with a varied menu and the daily newspaper on each table, as one guest remembers it. Villa guests with self-catering kitchens are always welcome to join us at the breakfast table instead.

Planning something more? Refreshments and catering are available on request — canapés, a buffet or a sit-down meal — and our team happily facilitates plating of food you may wish us to order in for you.
